Gaurang Velani
Managing Director
Gaurang graduated in 1995 with a BEng Civil Engineering which he gained from Saurashtra University, Rajkot, which is one of India’s leading research universities in the areas of applied and pure sciences.
Since he graduated Gaurang established Krishna Developers where he developed over 400 residential homes across Ahmedabad City over seven years. He joined Laxcon Contractors Limited in 2003 working on projects such as the BAPS Swaminarayan Temple, Neasden, the UK’s first traditional Hindu stone temple. Gaurang also worked on Sattavis Patidar Centre, a contemporary community centre in the heart of the Wembley regeneration area. Gaurang also directed the construction in Sheldon Road, Hampsted of a luxurious residential property.
Projects included:
Alpine Place, Queensbury which comprises 144 residential units, 5 live/work units and 13,500 sq.ft of commercial space, the scheme received RIC’s Best Regeneration Scheme award in 2016.
Isopad House, Borehamwood which comprises 150 residential units and was delivered in partnership with Tamil Community Housing Association and Home Group.
With successful careers at Laxcon and Jaysam, and the inspiration from his father, Gaurang was passionate about establishing his own construction and development company in the UK, which resulted in the creation of Arish Living. His aim is to deliver a combination of high end commercial and residential projects, across central London and new building projects across Northwest London.
In addition to its work, Gaurang is committed to supporting local charities in a variety of programmes in the community that enhance the lives of older people and children.
